Two Filipino best friends enter a mythological island where memories fade in this PG-rated DreamWorks animated adventure. The tone mixes friendship loyalty with fantasy peril and Filipino folklore. Scary action, rude humor, mild language and brief tobacco imagery sit in the rating. Separation anxiety about friends drifting apart drives the emotional side. Fine for most school-age kids who can handle mild fantasy peril.
