View all categoriesOur take
Scary Movie (2026) is the sixth franchise entry, a rebootquel bringing back Cindy, Brenda, Shorty and Ray to spoof modern horror. It is rated MA 15+ for crude sexual content, graphic nudity, strong comic violence, drug use and language throughout. Beheadings played for laughs, explicit sex jokes, marijuana use and slurs framed as edgy comedy all feature heavily. This is not for kids, and even many adults will find it too gross and mean-spirited for shared viewing.

Talk after watching
- Parody exaggerates horror tropes on purpose. When does spoof cross into offense?
- The Core Four return after many years. Why do reboots bring back old characters?
