Raakaasa is a Telugu horror-romance about an NRI who returns home, falls in love and unleashes a village demon. Subtitles carry a lot of demon and ghost talk, plus a murder investigation, corpses near a fort, drunk characters and brief kiss banter. Supernatural dread and village folklore matter more here than jump-scare gore. It suits older teens who can handle regional horror, not younger kids.
