Our take

Killer Whale is a US R horror thriller about two friends trapped in a remote lagoon with a vengeful orca. Brutal creature attacks, bloody CGI kills, tequila and beer references, a gun brought on the trip and f-word panic dialogue fill the runtime. A past tragedy opens the story and adds grief to the Jaws-style siege. Suited to older teens who handle animal-attack horror; too intense for younger viewers.
