Our take

Will, a small goat, joins a pro roarball team in an all-animal world. Rated PG for some rude humor and brief mild language. Slam-heavy sports violence, trash talk, a dead parent backstory and a quick therapist joke appear. Bright Spider-Verse-style animation with an underdog message for grade-schoolers and up.

Uplifting themes

Perseverance, teamwork and proving doubters wrong anchor the underdog story Will and several teammates model persistence and learning to share the spotlight Light lessons about teamwork and handling rejection in competitive sports

Story (may spoil tone)

A small goat with big dreams gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball, a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world.
