Our take
OVERLORD: The Sacred Kingdom is a feature for the existing anime series: an undead overlord, a holy war, and a lot of death. You get fantasy slaughter, threats against a child, and grim talk of corpses. Language is milder than Western MA 15+ comedies, but the violence is not kid-friendly. Best for older teens who already watch the show
Story (may spoil tone)
Facing possible annihilation by the Demon Emperor's demi-human army, the Sacred Kingdom reluctantly seeks aid from the feared, undead Sorcerer King Ainz.

Talk after watching
- Power is used to decide who lives. What does the film think about that?
- A child is used as leverage in a war. Why is that a line characters should not cross?
