Underworld: Blood Wars keeps Selene fighting Lycans and rival vampires. Battles, betrayals, guns, blades, and creature injuries drive the story, while sacrifice and lost allies add a sombre thread. Intimacy is not a focus of this guide. We put it at around 17 and up for the frequent fantasy violence.
Uplifting themes
Ending an endless feud, even at great personal cost, is the stated goal. Loyalty to a small circle of allies matters. The path is still violent Selene and a few steadfast allies try to stop the cycle instead of only feeding it. They remain warriors. Useful for a talk about costly peace, not gentle problem-solving
Story (may spoil tone)
Vampire death dealer Selene fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David and his father Thomas, she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Night raids, clan betrayal, and talk of ultimate sacrifice keep a harsh edge. Creature fights and cold fortress settings may rattle younger teens. The dread is action-horror, not a slow ghost story

Blades and guns cause creature injuries during the war. Deaths are part of the action, and this is not a bloodless fantasy

Sacrifice and lost allies hang over the mission to end the war. The emotional cost is named more than dwelt on in quiet scenes. Still a heavier finish than pure popcorn
