You, Me and Dupree is a broad marriage comedy about a best man who loses his job and moves in until the newlyweds crack. Expect crude sex jokes, nudity gags, drinking, a weed reference, and moderate swearing without a wall of f-words. Jealousy leads to a comic fight. We land at 14 and up because sexual references, brief nudity, and crude humour make a younger teen floor feel a little soft
Uplifting themes
Friendship and learning to grow up eventually matter more than the couch-surfing chaos. The ending leans toward responsibility Molly tries to set boundaries while Carl stalls. Dupree is lovable and a terrible houseguest for most of the film
Story (may spoil tone)
After standing in as best man for his longtime friend Carl Petersen, Randy Dupree loses his job, becomes a barfly and attaches himself to the newlywed couple almost permanently -- as their houseguest. But the longer Dupree camps out on their couch, the closer he gets to Carl's bride, Molly, leaving the frustrated groom wondering when his pal will be moving out.

Talk after watching
- Dupree treats the marriage as his spare room. How do you set a kind boundary with a friend who will not leave?
- Carl avoids hard talks until everything blows up. What is a better way to name a problem early?
