View all categoriesOur take
The Juror is a tense Demi Moore crime drama about jury intimidation, mob murder talk, and a seductive enforcer who will not leave a family alone. Strong swearing is frequent, guns and hit-man stories sit in court and street scenes, and a child's safety is used as leverage. There is also an implied sex scene and visible breast nudity, alongside drinking, smoking and drug-dealing talk. We land at 16 and up because sustained threats to a parent and child, plus coarse language, make this a tense crime thriller
Uplifting themes
A parent fighting to protect a child still matters under impossible pressure. The film values care even when systems fail Annie tries to keep her son safe when power is stacked against her at every turn. Many other adults are corrupt, weak, or predatory

- Charm and menace arrive in the same person. What warning signs would you trust if someone seemed helpful but controlling?
