Our take

HIT: The Third Case is a long, grim police thriller about a homicide team chasing a coordinated murder spree. Expect prolonged bloody violence, severed limbs, child peril and a suicide as the investigation deepens. Strong language includes the f-word and the s-word, with cigarette evidence and trafficking chatter in the mix. The gore and serial-killer procedure stay graphic through a long, grim crime story

Story (may spoil tone)

The Homicide Intervention Team (HIT) sends ruthless police officer Arjun Sarkaar to find a group of killers and stop their grisly murder spree.
