Our take

Gatta Kusthi 2 picks up Veera and Keerthi's marriage as they balance a young child and her wrestling comeback, with Veera taking on more home duties. Staged wrestling brawls, kill threats played for drama, a poison-murder backstory, mild damn and hell language, kiss-song lyrics and a broadly played kidnapping plot all feature. The tone stays rowdy family comedy more than grit. Fine for teens; very young kids may find the fight scenes loud.

Uplifting themes

Shared parenting, gender-role reversal and supporting a partner's dream sit at the heart of the comedy Veera and Keerthi model cooperation even when the comedy gets chaotic

Story (may spoil tone)

Picks up after the first film, with Veera and Keerthi balancing parenthood and Keerthi's wrestling career, featuring a role reversal where Veera takes on more domestic responsibilities.
