Our take
After defeat by Admiral Smee, Captain Hook hides in a coastal town in this family fantasy adventure. Pirate sword fights, sea monsters, spooky curses, and mild language run through the film. Younger viewers who are sensitive to monsters will feel many of those frightening beats. ClearAge leans toward 15 for kids who already like pirate fantasy.
