View all categoriesOur take
This is hard-edged military action, with long-range shootings, cartel muscle, and mission talk that treats kills as the job. Strong language shows up often, especially the f-word, during briefings and firefights. Drug-cartel violence is joined by a nude sex scene, sexual assault and a Marine's suicide. We land at 16 and up because these scenes make the film a harder watch than the gunfights alone suggest.
Uplifting themes
Loyalty to teammates flickers through the mission noise. Most of the film still celebrates force over repair or second thoughts Experienced shooters look out for each other under fire. Their solution set is almost always another carefully aimed shot

Weapons handling and tactical talk are framed as cool professional skill. Younger teens who copy gun play could take the wrong cue from the swagger
