Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb is the third entry in the Ben Stiller museum-comedy series, with exhibits waking up and chaos spilling from New York to London. Kids get slapstick chases, comic fighting, and a few louder fantasy creatures, including a snake-demon/dragon beat. Mild language shows up as hell and damn. Romantic jokes stay silly rather than sexual. We land at 8 and up because the night-time museum mayhem and creature scares are fun for most school-age kids but can feel big for preschoolers
Uplifting themes
Teamwork, loyalty to oddball friends, and protecting something magical for the next generation keep returning. The jokes never fully bury the warmth Larry and several exhibits keep choosing help over spite when the tablet starts failing. Imperfect adults still show up
Story (may spoil tone)
When the magic powers of The Tablet of Ahkmenrah begin to die out, Larry Daley spans the globe, uniting favorite and new characters while embarking on an epic quest to save the magic before it is gone forever.

Night museum magic, a haunted vibe, and a snake-demon creature give younger kids a few jumps. The tone still aims for adventure comedy more than horror
