Our take
A violent superhero origin about a vengeful hunter with superhuman abilities, rated MA 15+ for strong bloody violence, language throughout and some suggestive material. Frequent fights, animal attacks, gunfire and a dark father-son crime story. Best for older teens who already handle mature Marvel-style action.
Uplifting themes
Loyalty and teamwork get a mention, but revenge drives most choices Few admirable mentors appear; father figures model cruelty and criminal power
Story (may spoil tone)
Kraven Kravinoff's complex relationship with his ruthless gangster father, Nikolai, starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared.
