Our take
Grand Prix of Europe is a G animated family film about Edda, a young mouse who enters a big race to meet her hero and help her father save his failing fairground. Cartoon racing peril and mild rivalry insults sit beside themes of courage, teamwork and following dreams. The tone stays upbeat, with no strong language or mature content. Fine for elementary kids who enjoy underdog sports stories.
Uplifting themes
Dreams, perseverance and helping family are what anchor this underdog story Edda works hard to race and support her father even when doubters push back
