Our take

Flow has almost no dialogue. A cat is swept into a flood and shares a boat with other animals. Younger kids may find rising water, storms, and animal peril upsetting. No swearing, no sex, no human violence. Fine for children who can handle some tension in a gentle story

Uplifting themes

Different creatures learn to help each other when the world floods The cat keeps trying to protect the group even when it is frightened A simple look at animals adapting after a disaster, without a lecture

Story (may spoil tone)

A solitary cat, displaced by a great flood, finds refuge on a boat with various species and must navigate the challenges of adapting to a transformed world together.
