Our take
An M sci-fi action sequel follows a covert team and a stranded family facing giant dinosaurs. Rated for intense violence, bloody images, language, suggestive references and a drug reference. People get eaten or snatched, there is a severed limb, and chase peril keeps coming. Best for tweens and teens who handle franchise-level dinosaur scares, not very young kids.

Story (may spoil tone)
Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, covert operations expert Zora Bennett is contracted to lead a skilled team on a top-secret mission to secure genetic material from the world's three most massive dinosaurs. When Zora's operation intersects with a civilian family whose boating expedition was capsized, they all find themselves stranded on an island where they come face-to-face with a sinister, shocking discovery that's been hidden from the world for decades.

Talk after watching
- The film asks whether anyone still cares about dinosaurs. What makes a sequel feel fresh or tired to you?
- Jump scares and chases are a big part of the tension. How do you know when a scare is too much?
